Jesus had compassion on the hopeless crowds and called for more workers to help bring in the harvest. Today, the need remains great, and God seeks available, faithful people to serve.
When questioned about fasting, Jesus explained that it must not be used to show off one’s spirituality. True fasting is a matter of the heart, not a display.
Even demons recognize the authority of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 8:28–33, two violent, demon-possessed men were delivered by Christ’s command. Do you carry His authority as a believer?
Jesus demonstrated His power over nature when He calmed the storm, reminding us that no situation is beyond His control.
Jesus made it clear that discipleship comes with a cost. To follow Him requires full commitment, putting Him above personal comfort, possessions, and even family.
The centurion’s faith in Jesus brought healing to his servant. His story teaches us that genuine faith, even without physical presence, can unlock divine intervention and miracles.
In a bold act of faith, a man with leprosy approached Jesus and was completely healed. His story reminds us that Christ still has power over physical and spiritual afflictions, even today.
Jesus teaches that every disciple is known by the fruits they bear. As true followers, we must choose the narrow path that leads to life and produce fruits that glorify God.
Jesus encourages us to persist in prayer, trusting in the goodness of God. Like a loving father who gives good gifts to his children, God is faithful to answer and reward those who seek Him earnestly.
