TEXT: MATTHEW 8:5-13

TOPIC: FAITH DETERMINES HEALING

The centurion came to Jesus for a specific purpose: “My servant lies at home paralysed, suffering terribly” (vs. 6).

Note that Jesus asked, “Shall I come and heal him?” But the centurion’s answer was based on the fact that he recognised his own unworthiness to invite Jesus to go to his house to heal his servant. Through his faith in Jesus, the servant was healed (vs. 13).

As we listen this morning, we should have faith in God who answers prayers in the face of any troubles you may be going through this year.

Jesus is the instant solution to the life’s challenges confronting you so far as you have faith in Him.

QUESTION

Is your case so hopeless that it seems as if there is no solution?

PRAYER

Help me, dear Lord, to always remember that there is no problem that there is no problem that is beyond Your power. Help me to surrender everything to You this year, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
