TOPIC: PERSIST IN PRAYER
The two people here were possessed and became violent. But the demons recognised Jesus as the Son of God (vs. 29a).
These two demon-possessed individuals begged Jesus, knowing fully well that He had the power not to destroy them but to send them out for their abode into the herd of pigs.
Jesus did that through the command, “Go”. This set the demon-possessed men free.
In verse 33, the whole town went out to meet Jesus and ask Him to leave their region. But note that as they were asking Him to leave, others were welcoming Jesus..
QUESTION
Does Satan recognise the authority of Christ vested in you as a believer?
PRAYER
Give me Your power and Authority, Oh Lord, so that evil people will recognise You in me. Amen.
