TEXT: MATTHEW 8:23-27
TOPIC: THE WIND OBEYS CHRIST
Today’s reading shows Christ’s supremacy over the wind.
The disciples were disturbed by the severity of the storm. And Christ promptly responded to their plight. Just as the disciples were going through a storm, believers may also be going through similar troubles in life that may require urgent solutions.
As we gathered here, there are two questions we should ask:
(a) What storm are you passing through in your life’s journey that is making you to run helter-skelter?
(b) Who do you call upon for help in such times?
Oh Lord Jesus Christ, who stopped the storm for the disciples, is here to do it again in your lives. Jesus Christ has the power to calm every storm in your life..
QUESTION
Do you believe that He can still calm storms even today?
PRAYER
Oh Lord, Jesus, help me to always call on You for solutions to all my problems, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
