TEXT: MATTHEW 10:1-8
TOPIC: SPENDING TIME WITH JESUS
Christ’s ministry of healing and driving out impure spirits continues today through believers.
From this text, the twelve disciples were chosen from different vocations and backgrounds. Jesus Himself commanded and gave them a special assignment to go to the lost sheep of Israel preaching the gospel to them.
This task has been given to us too as believers in Christ. He has empowered us to do what He has already done. Therefore, believers need to continually spend time with Jesus, our Master for the effective ministry He has empowered and has given us the authority to do.
Brethren, as you go out today, this week and throughout this year, do the work of the master effectively for you have the full power and Authority to do so..
QUESTION
Are believers truly playing their path in spreading the gospel of Christ?
PRAYER
Oh Lord, empower and help me to spend more time with You this year in order to be an effective witness. Amen.
