Food for the Day – 17 February, 2025
True seekers will always find God’s Word abundant, but for those who cloak self-interest in spiritual language, judgment is near. Now, more than ever, we must listen for God’s voice with humility and discernment.

You have no reason to lose the race!
People’s commitment to anything, including spiritual matters, is usually at par with the commensurate interest and benefit they derive.
On this Valentine Day, there is need to practically demonstrate love as we have received.
Take a moment today to express love to someone, whether through a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a moment of forgiveness.
As long as you hate someone, you are not worthy of being called a disciple of Christ.
While you may not be able to control how others see and respond to you, you can control how you react…
Jesus Christ, in His earthly life and ministry, demonstrated how important prayer was in seeking His Father’s will.
Seeking God is a deliberate act, and His Word is the surest place to find Him. While some believe they can discover God solely through personal experiences, the Psalmist reminds us that true knowledge of God comes from His revealed Word.
God’s Word is not just for inspiration; it is meant to shape, correct, and transform us. At times, it challenges our pride, appetite, and complacency—areas that resist His character. Yet, through this refining process, we grow in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16).
The question remains: How much do we truly seek God through His Word? And how committed are we to obeying it?
We must allow God to hold our hand and not we trying to hold His.
