TEXT: ROMANS 12:14-21
TOPIC: LIVE IN PEACE WITH EVERYONE
Peace, which is the absence of conflict, is very scarce in the world today. This scarcity begins from within-people who do not have peace with themselves as a result of not attaining certain heights.
This develops to low self-esteem, as they begin to hate themselves. From this micro level, things escalate to global level where a nation goes to war with another nation. For example, Russia against Ukraine, Palestine/Hamas against Israel and so on. No matter what you do, some people are just difficult to relate with.
Is Paul being realistic? Yes, he is! In fact, he suggest steps to do that: bless those who persecute you, do not curse them.
While you may not be able to control how others see and respond to you, you can control how you react to them. Hebrews 12:14a says: “Make every effort to live in peace with all men.”

Who are you struggling to live in peace with?

Let the peace of God flow through me to others, O God, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
