SUNDAY, 8 JUNE
TEXT: EPHESIANS 4:1-16
TOPIC: UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST
As men and women come to know the abundant privileges in embracing Christ, it is worth knowing how to get deeper in the word that builds the Body of Christ as one.
All believers are one. Just like knowing that we have but one God and Father of all. The characteristics of the new family must be demonstrated here for the world to see and desire to belong to it as well.
Each one is called to place his or her gift, both spiritual and physical, on the table for the benefit of all members of the body (vs. 7, 11-13).
This can only be possible if all are united as members of the Body of Christ. It is in the application of these gifts in unity that everyone belonging to the body will benefit.
QUESTION
As a gifted member of the body of Christ, are you working in unity in the way you use your gifts?
PRAYER
Lord, make me a part of the body that always works in unity with fellow believers, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
