TEXT: EPHESIANS 3:14-20
PRAYER AS SUPPORT FOR GROWTH
As advanced believers in Christ, especially if we’re involved in evangelism, it should be counted a privilege and responsibility to support younger ones in the faith to grow as well.
Paul acknowledges that he was privileged to be a recipient of the mystery of salvation through faith in Christ. He was also commissioned to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, including the Ephesian converts.
He, therefore, had the duty to pray for them. It should be our habit to pray for younger believers in Christ.
Paul desired to see that Christ dwell in the hearts of the Ephesian believers by faith and be rooted in love.
QUESTION
How much prayer do you offer to support other believers, especially young converts in Christ?
PRAYER
Give me the passion for fervent prayers for the growth of the Church of Christ, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
