In every good venture, there must be an opposition. Opposition is tough but easier to handle when it is from outside than when it is within (Acts 20:30-31).
Zerubbabel and his team chose to cut off any dealings with the enemies of Judah even though they slowed down the work under kings Cyrus and Darius. The enemies instilled fear in the people of God until they were discouraged and stopped the project.
Fear is an acronym for ‘False Expectations Appearing Real.’ However, always remember that we have been given the spirit of boldness (2 Tim. 1:7)
QUESTION
How do you handle opposition that threatens you with fear?
PRAYER
Lord, empower me to stiffly oppose fear because it is mostly false expectations appearing real. Amen.
