Besides the accountability shown by Ezra and his team members, God demonstrated His presence by protecting the Israelites from all of their enemies.
This should serve as a lesson to those who have lost confidence in Christ.
We need to sit up and believe that God has power over herdsmen and bandits. We serve the same God who kept Ezra and his team safe from Babylon to Jerusalem.
There is also a call to demonstrate a life of integrity in verse 34.

God, give me the faith of Ezra to believe in Your protection and victory over my enemies, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
