TEXT: COLOSSIANS 1:15-23
TOPIC: CHRIST IS ALL-IN-ALL
The place of Jesus Christ in creation is like that of oxygen in the human body. Without oxygen, even for a brief moment, a person is as good as dead.
God, the source of all creation, took human form as Jesus to reach out to sinful man.
Let’s read Colossians 1:15-19 again and note these titles Paul used to describe Jesus: ‘image of the invisible God,” “firstborn over all creation,” ”creator of all things,” ”in heaven and on earth,’ ‘visible and invisible.”
His preeminent position enables Him to reconcile people to Himself through His blood, provided they continue in the faith they received.
QUESTION
Do you know and acknowledge Christ as the all-in-all of your life?
PRAYER
Give me the power and grace to know and recognise You, Jesus Christ, as the all-in-all on earth and in eternity, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
