As an Evangelical Church, ECWA believes in the 66 books of the Bible (39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament) as inspired Word of God and authoritative for life and doctrine. The Church believes in practical Christian living by the inward working of the Holy Spirit.
The mode of worship is also Evangelical, with emphasis on holistic preaching of the word of God. ECWA attempts to bring the word of God to the hearers for the Salvation of the soul first, and then the body.
The system of administration in this assembly is Presbyterian, where members have a say in the running of the Church according to the Bible, bye-laws and the Church constitution.
