TEXT: ZECHARIAH 3:1-10
TOPIC: HIS BLOOD IS ENOUGH FOR YOU
Satan, who is the accuser of the brethren, goes before the Lord to accuse us of the sins we have committed, even when the Lord has paid for it on the cross of Calvary.
Many people live with the guilt of the sins they have committed. That has drawn some into different activities that do not honour God.
Jesus has paid for our sins, and He sits at the right hand side of God interceding for you and I.
Joshua, the High Priest, stood before God with stained garments, feeling inadequate to do the ministry that God had called him to do. But God came and rebuked Satan and gave him every assurance that he needed.
We must understand that the love of God is greater than the sins we have committed, and we must take advantage of the blood that was shed for the remission of our sins.
Go to the Lord each time you miss the mark and receive cleansing to do what He has called you to do.
QUESTION
How have you handled the guilt of sin that seems to hinder you from doing the task God has assigned to you?
PRAYER
Thank You, Jesus, for dying to save me from my sins. Help me always to appropriate this as I seek to do Your will daily, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
