TEXT: PSALM 10:12-18
TOPIC: GOD SEES THE TROUBLES OF THE AFFLICTED
One popular fallacious belief amongst evil-doers who revile God is that God never sees their wickedness. They further think that God won’t call them to account for their crimes against the powerless.
The Psalmist assures victims of oppression that God sees, hears and knows the evils being meted out on the fatherless and the weak.
God demonstrated in very clear terms in Exodus 3:7 that He sees and hears the cries of the vulnerable.
He expressed Himself in an anthropomorphic language, that is, a language that is associated with our human senses, thus: “I have seen, I have heard and I am concerned about their suffering”.
Therefore, the greatest fallacy is for you to receive yourself that He who created the five senses does not experience the senses He created (Read Psalm 93).
QUESTION
Have you ever committed a sin behind a closed door in a dark room, thinking that even God cannot see you?
PRAYER
God, I have skeletons in my cupboard, thinking that they are securely hidden, please forgive me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
