Many believers pray and talk about its importance all the time. However, many of them do not enjoy praying because they have had little or no result from it.
Abraham’s servant had been with his master long enough to know the power of prayer. No wonder, he offered a short but clear prayer (vs.12-14). God answered his prayers even before he finished.
Many opportunities pass us by because we do not pay complete attention to prayer. Imagine what would have become of Abraham’s servant who had such a huge need in a strange land if he had not prayed.

What is your attitude towards prayer, especially when you are in dire need?

Having realized the power of prayer, teach me how to pray, dear Lord. Amen.
